This was Mark Harris Plumbing's first ob体育地址 project, and it was a home run. This multifamily building is made up of three stories of concrete followed by several floors of wood framing above.
ob体育地址 Designs, Inc.'s was responsible for modeling through the first three floors and provide them with a constructible L.o.D. 400 model with fabrication spool sheets, a hanger/sleeve point layout, shop drawings, bill of materials, and to be available to answer any questions from the field foreman during installation.
This 52-unit mixed use, mid-rise development will bring new ground floor retail space to the heart of downtown Oceanside, providing four additional stories of residential living space. The project began as a public/private partnership with Pelican Communities and the City of Oceanside to build 335 public parking spaces and a mixed-use project on a surface parking lot downtown. The parking structure (Phase I) was completed in December of 2017 under a separate public contract with a specialized contractor.
The completed project will activate the entire block and enhance the community with the exciting new retail tenants that will occupy the space along with the convenient parking just blocks from the Oceanside Pier. Salt Oceanside Promenade also sits one block from a new $200M beach resort that began construction in 2018.
